Hi, my name is Tim Hummel.

I work as a ethical hacker and  IT-Security consultant on contract basis. Here you can find information about my services, pretty much anything around hardware security, software security, reverse engineering, vulnerability discovery and exploitation. also see my LinkedIn or CV

I am also offering construction services, almost everything related to the installations, insulation and woodwork of buildings. Pretty random probably also the only IT security professional with a certification for industrial climbing on rock walls.

Apart from that I am a multi-disciplinary artist and engineer. As artist work mainly on fine woodworking, art-performances, engineering, old-timers, and working with Lego bricks.

My skills include:

  • Woodworking, especially custom boxes and precision work

  • IT-Security, programming (C, Python, Java, Android…) and software reverse engineering

  • All kind of skills related to building construction and installations.

  • Electrical engineering, electronics development, PCB design and electronic reverse engineering

  • CNC machines, CAD design (Solid Edge, Solid Works, Photoshop automation, Gimp…)

  • Design and Art with Lego Bricks

  • Metalwork, including milling and lathing

  • Hardware-oriented programming (various assemblers x86/x64, ARM), FPGAs, Arduino, Assembly

  • and of course: Tailored Workshops and consultation in all topics above

I am interested in a variety of areas from art over design to woodwork and technical topics. Therefore I am always busy making things. You can take a look at the complete portfolio to see a selection of what I made before.
